7/28/03 tulalip29 newsRay Fryberg leads the Tulalip Canoe Family in welcoming songs for the some 40-60 tribal canoes as they arrive at the completion of Canoe Journey 2003, an annual celebration of native cultures. Native canoes from throughout the Northwest and Canada paddled to Tulalip. A week of feasting, dancing, gift giving and healing begins with the arrival of the canoes.
